NetSquared London survey case study

Here is an example of a survey you could deploy to your local community, either when getting started initially, or as a way to measure/gauge your community's interest and needs after you've already formed. I distributed this survey to the London community prior to holding the first London Net Tuesday meeting and received great feedback. I used SurveyMonkey.com to host/manage the responses. (Amy Sample Ward)

Example Survey
NetSquared is a community, on and offline, bringing nonprofits and social change enterprises together around successful uses, ideas, and collaboration with social media and technology. A project of TechSoup, Net2 has on-the-ground communities meeting monthly around the world for Net Tuesday events, to learn, share, and exchange about leveraging the social web. You can see a list of established Net Tuesday groups here, though many more are taking off right now, in places like Africa, India and beyond. We want our city to be part of this global community of changemakers!

To do that, though, we first want to get some information from you to help us ensure that our Net Tuesday is exactly what you would want it to be.

Thank you for your time; this survey should only take 5 - 10 minutes but will help us tremendously in creating a monthly gathering that serves the local nonprofit technology sector as best it can.
