Ambassadors continue to arrive; recovery day for those with long travel
  • 1:00 PM: Eli to check into house
  • 3:00 PM-ish: Birgit lands at 1:40pm in SFO and I will hitch a ride with the SuperShuttle
  • 6:00 PM: group dinner?
  • 10:00 PM: Roshani arrives
  • Late: Paul arrives

Monday, March 21

Ambassadors hold meetings in San Francisco at TechSoup offices

  • 8:30 AM: Depart for San Francisco, arrive at 10:00 AM

  • 2:00 PM: Birgit checks out of house and transfer to hotel with Cindy Leonard
  • 3:00 - 5:00 PM: San Jose Walking Tour with Beth Kanter
  • 3:00 - 5:00 PM: TechSoup setup in conference hall
  • 5:00 - 6:30 PM: NTC speaker reception, San Jose Ballroom @ the Marriott connected to the San Jose Convention Center

Wednesday, March 23

First day of NTC conference. See this blog post for all TechSoup-related programming.
  • 10:00 AM: Eli to talk with Tad at the Microsoft booth about social media promo for sessions
  • 12:00 - 1:30 PM: 501 Tech Club/ NetSquared Birds of a Feather
  • 1:30-2:00 PM: Eli to present at Microsoft booth
  • 6:00 PM: TechSoup BBQ. 111 West Reed Street. (4 blocks from the Convention center - a 7 minute walk)
    • We’ll have drinks, grilled veges and meat, salad, garlic bread, fruits and ice cream
  • 7:00 PM: OC Tribe Meetup organized by TechSoup's Susan Tenby; Adobe Offices

Thursday, March 24

Second day of NTC conference
  • 10:00 AM: Organizer group photo (for those groups affiliated with NTEN) - Bethany organizing
  • 10:30 - Noon: Bridging the Divide: Online and Offline Community Managers, salon V with Birgit Pauli-Haack
  • 12:00 PM: NTCcanucks Birds of a Feather
  • 1:30 - 3:00 PM: Eli to meet with Wesley at Adobe booth
  • 3:30 - 4:00 PM: Eli to present at Microsoft booth using Show and Tell format

Third day of NTC conference

Saturday, March 26

Organizer Day, Marriott hotel, Willow Glen room
  • 9:00 AM: coffee, snacks and introductions. Invite in external participation via Twitter and Periscope. Hashtag #16NTCorganizer
  • 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM: Short workshops including event formats and case studies, marketing and promotion and case studies, co-organizers and community building
  • 12:00 PM: Wrap
  • 12:30 PM - 2:00 PM (optional): Group lunch for those who can stay later

Once the Organizer Day is complete Ambassadors can now depart

Sunday, March 27

Depart group house (for those who couldn't get a flight Saturday afternoon). Check-out time is 11:00 AM
Eli intends to leave the house on Saturday - so I'll lave it to Roshani and Paul to manage closing up the house. Eli to confirm with VRBO owner.
